Microsoft Visio Introduction

Course Duration: One Day

Target Audience:

Aimed at Microsoft Visio users who, as part of their job, need to create new drawings and modify existing drawings, including Flowcharts, Workflows Cross-Functional Flowcharts (Swim Lanes), Organisation Charts, Brainstorming Diagrams, Timelines and Gantt Charts.

Course Objectives:

To allow the course participants to develop a good working knowledge of Visio. This will enable them to create different types of drawings like Flowcharts, Workflows, Cross-Functional Flowcharts (Swim Lanes), Organisation Charts, Brainstorming Diagrams, Timelines and Gantt Charts. The participants will be able to use the library of existing stencils and templates and create their own customised versions of both.

Working with and Managing Drawings

  • Open, save and close drawings
  • Navigating pages

Visio Stencils and Templates

  • Creating Flowcharts and Workflows using existing template and stencils
